2 accused of meeting victim online and robbing him in Costa Mesa of camera

COSTA MESA – Two men were behind bars Thursday on suspicion of
robbing a victim they met through an online classified ad and then beating him
as they stole his camera, Costa Mesa police said.

Gabriel Breisch, 21, of Foothill Ranch, was arrested and booked
Wednesday. He was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Adahn Woodard, 25, of Lake Forest, was arrested Thursday and being held
on the same bail, said Roxi Fyad, a Costa Mesa police spokeswoman.

Police were called just before 7 a.m., Tuesday, for a reported robbery in the
2500 block of Newport Boulevard in Costa Mesa.

A 26-year-old man said he arranged to meet the two suspects through an
online classified ad to sell them his camera, Fyad said.

The two, instead, took the camera and repeatedly kicked and punched the victim, Fyad said.

The two were booked on suspicion of strong-arm robbery and assault with
force likely to produce injury, Fyad said.
