Country music superstar and CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley has extended his already lengthy Weekend Warrior World Tour, adding an additional 26-date leg that will kick off on Thursday, Jan. 25 at Staples Center (1111 S. Figueroa St.) in Los Angeles.

Paisley rolled through town back in June, stopping at Honda Center in Anaheim for a sold-out gig in support of his latest album, “Love and War,” which dropped back in April. The tour, of course, leans heavily on the new material and included the singles “Last Time for Everything,” “Today” and his collaboration with John Fogerty, the album title track, “Love and War.”

However, it wasn’t all about the new stuff. As a multi-Grammy award-winner, CMA entertainer of the year and ACM artist of the year award-winner, Paisley knows how to work a crowd and mixed in some of his biggest hits alongside fan-favorites including “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” “Mud on the Tires,” “This is Country Music,” “Ticks,” Waitin’ on a Woman” and his signature drinking anthem, “Alcohol.”

As they did in Anaheim, rising stars Dustin Lynch, Chase Bryant and Lindsay Ell will open in Los Angeles. Paisley’s camp has not yet released the on sale information for the Jan. 25 show, however that will be available at staplescenter.com soon.
