The Bruins will make up their snowed-out game against the Florida Panthers on April 8 at the TD Garden. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m.
The game, which was postponed due to last week’s blizzard, will take place a day after the Bruins’ originally-scheduled final regular-season game. The B’s have a very busy March and April and the teams could not find an earlier date.
As a result, the Celtics, who were scheduled to play the Atlanta Hawks on that day at 7:30 p.m., have moved their game to 1 p.m. that afternoon.
“On behalf of the Boston Bruins I would like to thank Boston Celtics President Rich Gotham, as well as the Celtics organization, Atlanta Hawks, NBA and TD Garden for their flexibility moving the previously scheduled Celtics game on April 8th to a matinee,” said Bruins President Cam Neely. “We are grateful for the flexibility and cooperation of all of these groups which made it possible for the NHL to reschedule our game against the Panthers to the evening of the April 8th.”
Tickets for the Bruins-Panthers game on January 4 game will be valid for the makeup game on April 8.
