KCK police share images of two vehicles leaving laundromat following teen’s deat…


Police in Kansas City, Kan. are asking the public to help identify the drivers of two vehicles that were seen leaving a laundromat at the time of a shooting where a teen died.

Police said they were called to the 2400 block of South 34th Street in Argentine early on Nov. 18. At the scene, police found the body of Asian male in his teens. The teen had been shot to death inside the Maple Hill Laundromat.

Family and friends identified the victim as 15-year-old December Htoo, a sophomore at J.C. Harmon High School who worked at the laundromat where he died.

Police said the shooting happened between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Nov. 17. In a news release, police shared two surveillance images of two vehicles leaving the Maple Hill Laundromat during this time. Police said Monday night that they don’t believe the vehicles belong to the suspects at this time but said the drivers might be able to help in the investigation.

KCK police said they were still trying to identify the suspect or suspects who may have been involved in the teen’s death.
