Placentia police searching for gas station gunman

PLACENTIA Police are attempting to identify a gunman who held up a gas station late Monday, Nov. 13.

Around 11:05 p.m., a man  dressed in dark clothing and wearing a black bandana over his face robbed a clerk at the Chevron at 313 West Orangethorpe Ave., police said.

A small amount of cash was taken and the robber was last seen running from the gas station in a southeast direction. The clerk was not injured.

The robber is described as being Hispanic, about  5 feet 10 inches tall, 250 pounds, with black hair.

He was wearing a black windbreaker, and blue jeans and black prescription glasses.
