Police searching for man suspected of groping Huntington Beach girl

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Police are searching for a man suspected of groping a girl as she was walking home from Spring View Middle School on Monday, Nov. 13.

The victim reported around 3:15 p.m. she was in the vicinity of Edwards Street and Edinger Avenue when a man touched her inappropriately, police said in a statement.

She got away from the man and ran home to safety, according to police.

The man is described as white, about 25 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds and wearing a dark turquoise shirt and jeans.

A witness reported seeing the man enter a small black car with dark tinted windows and black rims.
