Broadcaster Keith Jackson, who died Friday night at the age of 89, was known for his work on college football.
According to ESPN, Jackson was credited with nicknaming the Rose Bowl “The Granddaddy of Them All” and the Michigan football stadium “The Big House.”
But Jackson did so much more. He was the first person to do play by play on “Monday Night Football,” worked multiple Olympic Games, and also announced baseball, auto racing and basketball.
As news spread of Jackson’s death, the tributes quickly followed.
Many of the people who remembered Jackson also shared some of his work.
