SUP action hits the sand for Pacific Paddle Games at Doheny State Beach


DANA POINT – The world’s best stand-up paddlers capped off a weekend filled with action at the Pacific Paddle Games as a strong wind whipped up the ocean surface Sunday at Doheny State Beach and added a wave of drama to the event.

Hawaiian Connor Baxter claimed a three-peat after winning the best overall standing for the third year in a row after clinching both the technical and distance race. New Zealand paddler Annabel Anderson took home the women’s overall win. Laguna Beach’s Jade Howson took home the overall win after earning the most points in the girl’s junior division.
