The Obama's vacation house on Martha's Vineyard is for sale

The Chilmark House, where former President Barack Obama and his family stayed while on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, is up for sale — for $17.75 million.

The Obamas stayed at the 7,000-square-foot house in 2013, where the former President spent some time golfing, cycling around the island, and enjoying quality time with his family.

According to Sotheby’s, Chilmark House has six bedrooms and five full bathrooms (with marble baths), and sits on nine-and-a-half acres of land.

“This spectacular home flows continuously between interior and exterior spaces,” the description reads. “The extraordinary Chilmark House celebrates panoramic ocean views, gracious skylights, huge windows and wonderful detail in both design and materials.”

On top of having all the room they can possibly need, the new owner can enjoy the house’s oak and limestone heated floors and a concrete fireplace.

When you’re not sitting inside enjoying a roaring fire and stupendous art, the house also offers amazing views of the island through floor-to-ceiling windows.

As Architectural Digest noted, this is a way to own a piece of presidential history and get a private beach at the same time.

Sotheby’s calls the house a “trophy property” for any homeowner.
