Ice skating in Tustin

The District at Tustin Legacy will debut its Freeze Ice Rink, which will be Orange County’s largest outdoor ice skating rink at 5,000-square feet, on Friday, Nov. 17, at 2437 Park Ave. The 50-foot by 100-foot rink will be just off the District Valet and JT Schmid’s. It will remain open through Jan. 15. Prices are $19 for adults and children, which include the rental of new skates, and $16 if you bring your own skates. Helmets are optional and provided free. Hours: 1-8:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 1-10:30 p.m. Fridays; 11 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Sundays. Information: thedistricttl.com.

Tour beautiful North Tustin homes

The annual Home Tour and Boutique hosted by the Jack & Jill Guild of CHOC Children’s Hospital takes place 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17. The tour features three North Tustin homes. The boutique will be open 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Temple Beth Sholom, 2625 N. Tustin Ave. Admission to the boutique is free. Tour tickets, including lunch, are $50. Information: JackandJillGuild.org.

Veterans Sports Park groundbreaking

The city will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Veterans Sports Park at Tustin Legacy at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the future park site on
Lansdowne Road and Valencia Avenue. The event will include remarks from the Mayor Allan Bernstein. Amenities at the future 31.5-acre park include four soccer fields, three ball diamonds, a skate park, a large playground, basketball and tennis courts and a Veterans Memorial.
